On September 25 , the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation organized an expert group to convene in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, which was organized by CNOOC Offshore Oil Fudao Co.
The expert group believes that the project's research and development unit has developed a new type of nanocomposite oxide high-efficiency copper-based catalyst with a restricted structure, which has good catalytic activity and stability, and has developed an industrial catalyst with independent intellectual property rights and its scale-up production process.
Experts at the conference pointed out that the project took the lead in building the world's largest industrial test device for carbon dioxide hydrogenation to methanol, which is of great significance to the utilization of carbon dioxide resources in my country and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The project uses a new type of nano-non-precious metal catalyst independently developed by the Shanghai Institute of Advanced Studies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, completes the engineering technology development and device engineering design of the industrial test device, and has built the world’s largest carbon dioxide hydrogenation system in Offshore Oil Fudao Company Methanol ( scale 5000 tons / year ) industrial test device.
Through the implementation of this project, a carbon dioxide hydrogenation catalyst production technology with independent intellectual property rights will be formed, and through industrial test process optimization and equipment optimization, a competitive carbon dioxide hydrogenation methanol technology will be formed.
From an economic analysis, the use of a new high-efficiency carbon dioxide hydrogenation catalyst to replace the imported methanol synthesis catalyst can reduce the cost of the catalyst by 40,000 yuan / m3.
