On July 26, the construction of the 800 kV UHVDC transmission line
from Jinbei in Shanxi to Nanjing±, Jiangsu Province began.
On the same day, in the territory of Pancun Town, Mingguang City, construction workers braved the high temperature to install
the attachment of the wire.
It is reported that the project passes through six provinces of Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Anhui and Jiangsu, with a total length of 1118.
5 kilometers, and is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2017, which is of great significance
to ensure the safe and reliable power supply of East China Power Grid.
