According to Reuters, the UK will provide 100 million pounds ($127 million) to support plans
for renewable energy projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
The funding pledges come from representatives of more than 190 countries meeting in Poland to flesh out how to meet commitments under the 2015 Paris Agreement to keep global temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius this century
