UK energy market regulator Ofgem will tender for offshore transmission system licenses for the 900MW Moray East and 857MW Triton Knoll offshore wind farm

The regulator said last week that the tender would begin

This is the seventh tender
for transmission systems for offshore wind projects.
Bidders will compete to become offshore transmission system owners (OFTOs)
for both wind farms.
