Recently, the two scientific research achievements of the Power Grid Planning and Research Center of Yunnan Power Grid Corporation, "Development and Application of Intelligent Platform for Grid Stability Simulation and Analysis" and "Key Technologies and Engineering Applications for Absorbing Large-scale Hydropower in Western Yunnan", have been identified by China Southern Power Grid Corporation and reached the leading level
in China.
It is understood that the "Development and Application of Intelligent Platform for Grid Stability Simulation and Analysis" project has carried out research on key technologies such as intelligent construction of simulation model and intelligent correlation of analysis process, and the overall results have reached the domestic leading level, and the platform has been applied in Yunnan Power Grid Planning and Research Center, Dispatching Center and Yunnan Electric Power Design Institute, greatly improving the level and efficiency of power grid analysis, making the stability of the power grid from manual analysis into the stage of computer intelligent analysis, and realizing the automation and intelligence
of the entire analysis process 。 The project of "Absorbing Key Technologies and Engineering Applications of Large-scale Hydropower in Western Yunnan" has been applied in the ±500 kV Yongfu DC Project in Yunnan, the Fugong Tandem Supplement Project of Nujiang Power Grid, and the improvement of the transmission capacity of Liyuan and Ahai Power Stations, effectively promoting the large-scale hydropower consumption
in western Yunnan.
