Sergei Karukin, President of Rostelecom, said: "The construction of this cable in the Far East is of great
significance to the people of the Far East and Rostelecom.
Due to geography and climate, the construction of this submarine cable is very complex from a technical point of view, and we laid almost 2,000 km of submarine cable and 250 km of land cable, passing through extremely cold areas

”
Mike Constable, CEO of Huawei Marine, said: "This cable will enable the Far East to enjoy the economic and social benefits

I am confident that the successful completion of this submarine cable once again demonstrates our team's determination and ability
to put our customers at the center of overcoming harsh environmental challenges and ensuring delivery.
