Guangdong Petrochemical Atmospheric Pressure Reducing Device adopts Shell's high vacuum, empty tower spray pressure reduction and deep drawing technology, as well as the advanced technology of inhibiting vaporization pre-flash evaporation and three-stage intelligent response electrodesalination, and applies low-nitrogen burners and other process equipment, which has achieved the design goals of advanced technology, environmental friendliness, safety and reliability, and has the ability to
process high-sulfur, high-acid, heavy-quality and inferior crude oil.
The plant started construction in March 2020, and on June 26, 2022, the atmospheric pressure reducing device I and II were jointly completed by CCCC, creating a new record
for the largest oil refining project completed by CCCC at one time in China.
On October 26, the unit introduced crude oil and entered the stage of trial production; On November 5, it produced naphtha components, jet fuel components, diesel components, wax oil components, residual oil, liquefied gas and other qualified products, and the unit was successfully started up in one time, laying the foundation
for Guangdong Petrochemical Project to open up the whole process of oil refining.
