During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Hengli Group focused on building two major new polyester material industrial parks in Suzhou to further enhance the innovation level of the entire industrial chain "from a drop of oil to a piece of cloth", and to refine each sector of the industrial chain.

Hengli Group plans to invest a total of 20 billion yuan to build Hengli (Kunshan) International New Materials Industrial Park in Kunshan High-tech Zone, which will mainly construct projects with an annual output of 1 million tons of high-end functional polyester film, engineering plastics, and research and development of new polyester materials.

Hengli Group plans to invest a total of 20 billion yuan in Wujiang High-tech Zone (Shengze Town) to build an intelligent super factory project with an annual output of 1 million tons of high-performance industrial silk and a new fiber research and development center.
The scale is the largest in the world and the level of intelligence is the highest in the world .
The project mainly produces various high-end high-performance polyester industrial yarns and their post-processed products, which are used in special fields such as safety protection, geotechnical construction, marine engineering, aerospace, and environmental protection.
At the same time, the project establishes a new type of fiber research institute, introduces domestic and foreign advanced research and development experimental devices, and carries out the research and development of key technologies of new fiber materials and functional textile materials and the transformation of results.
