The line is expected to start construction before the end of next year, and the construction period is about
4 years.
It is reported that the Yanjiang intercity railway is the first self-designed and independently built high-speed railway in Jiangsu, and is the fourth railway and the third high-speed railway between Nanjing and Shanghai after the old Shanghai-Nanjing line, Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway
