Recently, the National Energy Administration formulated the "13th Five-Year Plan" for nuclear power, planning to complete the target of 88 million kilowatts of nuclear power installed capacity within five years, and it is expected to start construction of 5-6 units per year during the "13th Five-Year Plan
    " period.
In the future, nuclear power will be an important force
to increase the proportion of non-fossil energy power generation in China.

The 13th Five-Year Plan covers the medium- and long-term outlook for nuclear power development, with nuclear power installed capacity expected to reach 1.
2-150 million kilowatts in 2030, and the proportion of nuclear power generation increasing to 8%-10%, compared with previous predictions of 130 million kilowatts
    by 2030.
Analysts pointed out that the construction period of nuclear power projects from early site selection to completion of construction takes up to 8-10 years, so the 13th Five-Year Plan needs to plan in advance for medium- and long-term nuclear power construction goals
    .
Due to the long construction period of key equipment such as nuclear power main pumps and steam generators, with the large-scale increase of nuclear power installed capacity in the future, the demand for nuclear power equipment supply chain during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period is expected to increase
    significantly.

It is understood that the "13th Five-Year Plan" domestic third-generation nuclear power technology will adopt the AP1000 model on a large scale, and the "Hualong No.
1" reactor type is mainly used for the "going out" project
    .
On October 29, EMD successfully tested the main pump of the AP1000 nuclear power unit and passed the safety review
of the National Nuclear Safety Administration.
On the 11th, Sanmen Nuclear Power Company said that AP1000 autonomy relies on the first two main pumps of the Sanmen Nuclear Power Unit 1 of the project to be shipped and arrived in China
    before December 25.
    Power generation
is expected to be completed by the end of 2016 or early 2017.

Units 5 and 6 of Tianwan are currently being reviewed by China Consulting Company, and the next step will be reported to the Energy Bureau, which is expected to be approved by the end of the year, and construction
will start at the end of the year or the first half of next year.

Recently, concerns about the safety of nuclear power have intensified
    .
The nuclear safety regulator of the Ministry of Environmental Protection told the reporter of the Shanghai Securities Daily that the radioactive waste produced by nuclear power plants is solid and not easy to diffuse, and more than 95% of the radioactive waste generated by nuclear energy development activities is low- and medium-level waste, as long as it is concentrated and properly buried in a closed waste disposal site, the environmental impact is very small, and nuclear power
    should not be demonized.
China's nuclear power development is advancing in accordance with the set goals, the outline of the "13th Five-Year Plan" for nuclear power safety is initially determined, the Nuclear Safety Administration is organizing further preparation, and will also strengthen the supervision
    of nuclear safety culture.
