At the 5G and Future Network Strategy Seminar held on July 17, Wang Zhiqin, vice president of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and head of the IMT-2020 (5G) promotion team, said that the third phase of 5G technology R&D test has entered the mid-term, and some enterprises have completed indoor testing projects
based on non-independent networking standards.
According to the plan, before and after this year's telecom exhibition (September), all participating test manufacturers will complete NSA's field testing and indoor testing of independent networking, some leading manufacturers will complete outdoor test projects, and all test items
of the third phase of testing will be completed by the end of this year.
