    Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province conducted technical appraisal
    of the project of "Research on 1000kV DC UHV National Metering Standard Device".

    China is the country with the largest number of DC transmission projects and the highest transmission voltage level in the world, and a number of 800kV UHVDC transmission lines have been officially put into operation, and higher voltage level DC transmission lines
    are being prepared.

    After years of scientific research, the national high voltage metering station for the first time used the direct measurement method to realize the self-calibration of the DC voltage proportional standard value under a voltage of 1kV~1000kV, and proposed a variety of innovative methods such as the detection method of the voltage divider ratio voltage coefficient based on the separable auxiliary voltage divider, the iterative algorithm of temperature distribution and heat dissipation during the thermal equilibrium of the voltage divider, the mutual compensation method of the voltage coefficient and temperature coefficient of the resistance element, and mastered a number of core invention technologies such as "a 2/1 voltage divider ratio self-calibration method of a voltage divider".
    A major breakthrough has been made in the research of DC UHV proportional standard, and a DC UHV measurement standard system with completely independent intellectual property rights has been established, which has improved the uncertainty level of DC voltage proportional value in 1kV~500kV by two levels, and filled the gap of 500kV~1000kV DC voltage proportional value, and the measurement uncertainty of 500kV~1000kV is better than 5×10-5
