Recently, Haru, Chilean Haili Innovation Fuel Company, jointly participated by Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co.
    , Ltd.
and Sinopec Refining Engineering Luoyang Technology R&D Center The Oni demonstration project plant produces qualified green synthetic gasoline
    .
Compared with traditional fossil fuels, green synthetic gasoline can reduce carbon emissions by about 90%.

This project is an environmental protection project for the Chilean government to implement the hydrogen energy development strategy and innovatively promote carbon neutrality, and it is also the first industrial application
of methanol-to-gasoline technology developed by China overseas.

Located in Punta Arenas, on the west coast of the Magellan Strait in southern Chile, the project is invested and built by Chilean National Petroleum, ExxonMobil and other companies, using abundant local water and wind energy to produce green hydrogen, recover carbon dioxide from the air, synthesize methanol and then produce green gasoline
    .
The project construction includes wind power generation, electrolysis of water to hydrogen, carbon dioxide capture, carbon dioxide to methanol, methanol to gasoline and other units
    .

Since March 2021, a consortium formed by Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co.
    , Ltd.
and Sinopec Refining and Chemical Engineering Luoyang Technology R&D Center has successively completed the design, procurement, manufacturing and integration of four pilot plants, including methanol to gasoline, to ensure that the project produces "green gasoline"
