The plug-and-play technology research project of battery energy storage power station was launched in February 2017, and the project aims to overcome the problem of grid connection after the large-scale application of energy storage system, so as to improve the effectiveness and convenience of grid-connected operation of
energy storage system.
Based on the plug-and-play implementation technical framework of battery energy storage power stations, the project starts from four sub-topics: the technical architecture and grid-connected information interaction mechanism of battery energy storage power station plug-and-play implementation, the research on multi-state operation and smooth switching technology of battery energy storage power station grid connection at the energy flow level, the development of plug-and-play physical interface equipment, the research on grid-connected self-description and interoperability technology of battery energy storage power station at the information flow level, the development of plug-and-play information interface equipment, and the plug-and-play grid-connected demonstration application of battery energy storage power station.
In order to make the battery energy storage power station directly jump from restricted access and fixed access to orderly access, realize the real plug and play of battery energy storage power station, so as to promote the friendly interaction between regional power grid and battery energy storage power station, and improve the adaptability
of battery energy storage power station in different application scenarios.
In the next step, according to the opinions of the experts of the supervision group, the Shanghai Electric Power Research Institute will organize the project team to continue to carry out in-depth research on the key technologies of plug-and-play for battery energy storage power stations, and promote the demonstration application as soon as possible, laying the foundation
