    .

Nasos Ktorides, CEO of Quantum Cable, revealed that the company is in discussions with Gibraltar government officials to build a data center to support Quantum Cable landings
located at both ends of Gibraltar and Cyprus.

"As the project developer of the ultra-fast submarine data cable, which is in its mature phase and on schedule, we welcome discussions
with the Government of Gibraltar and all stakeholders interested in participating along the way," Ktorides said.

It is reported that the Quantum Cable will connect Cyprus with Israel and Greece (landing in Crete and Attica) and further extend to Italy, France and Bilbao (Spain), where it will be interconnected with the MAREA submarine cable with a transmission capacity of 160 Tbps, extending 6,600 kilometers across the Atlantic Ocean to Virginia (USA).
