Zhou Lei said that the prospect of the development of China's titanium dioxide industry is that the scale of individual manufacturers is getting bigger and bigger, and the industrial concentration will be higher and higher, which will be consistent with the world-class enterprises

The main products are developed to the mid-to-high-end field

Zhou Lei pointed out that although the quality and application performance of sulfuric acid method products in China are constantly improving, compared with international large companies, there is still a big gap in terms of brand awareness and quality connotation

At present, in the domestic market, although the products of large companies have a certain reputation, most of them can only be used in mid-end or high-end fields, and the requirements for top fields such as automobiles, high-speed trains, ocean-going containers, aerospace and military industries are high.

In the international market, China's export products are mainly used in low-end fields, and some of them can be used in mid-to-high-end fields

It is understood that the titanium dioxide sub-center was established in 2003, and its activity purpose is to "promote the healthy and sustainable development of the titanium dioxide industry" as the overall goal

The sub-center, together with the Secretariat of the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation of Titanium Dioxide Industry, in addition to conscientiously holding the annual Titanium Dioxide Annual Meeting and Titanium Dioxide Equipment Conference, since 2004, it has been held in Zhangjiajie, Jiangxi Jiujiang, Guangxi Guilin, Shandong Zibo, Longkou and Jinan respectively held technical training courses on the whole process, surface treatment, hydrolysis, denitration titanium dioxide, mica pearlescent titanium and so on

Zhou Lei pointed out that the current supply-side reform of China's titanium dioxide industry is still further deepening, the requirements for environmental governance will become more and more stringent, the international market is unpredictable, the Sino-US trade friction has not eased, and opportunities and challenges coexist

The titanium dioxide sub-center will use the existing public service platforms (publications, websites and professional APPs, and the website will also be upgraded and launched at the end of this year to provide members with more diverse services) and talents (expert groups) to provide various governing units.
