Sinochem News Online October 18, 2021 (tenth) China International Coal Chemical Industry Development Forum was held in Beijing

Li Shousheng, President of the Petrochemical Federation, pointed out that although modern coal chemical industry has achieved remarkable results since the "13th Five-Year Plan", it still faces many challenges, such as high carbon dioxide emissions, fierce market competition, water shortages, and stricter energy efficiency "dual control" policies.

Zhang Jiming, assistant general manager of National Energy Group, introduced the content of the group's "14th Five-Year" development plan

Xie Kechang, former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, discussed eight points about the "dual carbon" strategic goal

Zhang Suojiang, director of the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, analyzed the energy structure and carbon emissions of several industrial fields, and proposed new technologies that can be adopted under the "dual carbon" goal

The opening ceremony of the forum was co-chaired by Li Bin, Vice Chairman of the Petrochemical Federation, and Hu Qianlin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary-General of the Petrochemical Federation.
