In accordance with the national centralized management of hazardous chemical safety risks, recently, the State Council Office of the Safety Committee issued a special plan and organized video publicity training to fully launch a one-year special rectification of the safety risk prevention and control of old equipment in hazardous chemical production and use enterprises

With the rapid development of China's chemical industry, some chemical plants built in the early stage have been running for a long time, and problems such as equipment fatigue, pipeline aging, and increased system failure rate have gradually emerged, stability and reliability have decreased, and safety risks have increased.

The special rectification focuses on installations involving major hazard sources, high-risk processes, toxic gases and explosives, and comprehensively evaluates the safety risk level of old installations from four aspects: basic management, equipment and pipeline safety, process safety, and instrument control system safety.

The special rectification is divided into four stages: enterprise benchmarking and self-assessment, in-depth assessment at the provincial level and central enterprise headquarters, classified rectification and law enforcement inspection.
