According to the World Natural Gas Network on May 10, the number of drilling rigs in the United States increased by 8 from last week to 448, of which oil rigs increased by 2 to 344, and natural gas rigs increased by 7 to 103.
The number of drilling rigs in the United States has increased by 74 from last year's 374.
The number of offshore drilling rigs in the United States was 13 units, a decrease of 2 units year-on-year.

US offshore rig count remains flat
US Rig Count is up 8 from last week to 448 with oil rigs up 2 to 344, gas rigs up 7 to 103, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.
US Rig Count is up 74 rigs from last year's count of 374, with oil rigs up 52 gas rigs up 23 and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.
The US Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 13, down 2 year-over-year.
