May 18, 2016: NEXTracker (Fremont, California, USA) announced that it has obtained FINAME certification in Brazil, which will enable the company to provide cash PV trackers
to Brazilian projects under attractive financial arrangements.
The FINAME certification, granted by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), shows that the products produced by the company comply with BNDES local content and local manufacturing process standards
.
Under special terms and conditions, FINAME Facilities Financing gives project developers access to local development bank lines of credit
.
As Brazil's reach grows, with a co-located manufacturing center at Sorocaba in São Paulo – and supported by more than 9,000 Brazilian Flex employees – NEXTracker will provide advanced NX Horizon trackers
to its solar developers and EPCs throughout Brazil.
Locally produced tracker materials, in addition to key structural building blocks, NEXTracker manufactures and tests advanced self-powered controllers
at Flex.
