of the proven reserves of shale gas in China.

By accelerating scientific and technological innovation, Sinopec Jianghan Oilfield has overcome the technical bottleneck of deep atmospheric shale gas benefit development in 6 years, and the output of shale gas tested in a single well has increased from 40,000-60,000 cubic meters per day to 100,000-130,000 cubic meters
per day.
As of November 2021, the maximum cumulative production of a single well in the Baima Block of Fuling Shale Gas Field exceeded 30 million cubic meters, which is at a high level among domestic atmospheric pressure shale gas wells, which confirms that the block has good prospects for
scale increase and efficiency development.
Fuling shale gas field began construction in December 2012, and entered commercial development ahead of schedule in March 2014, making it the first large-scale shale gas field
in China to enter commercial development.
In March 2017, the annual production capacity of 10 billion cubic meters was completed as scheduled, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 12 million tons per year, which is equivalent to planting 110 million trees and parking 8 million cars

In 2018, 2020 and 2021, the cumulative gas production will exceed 20 billion cubic meters, 30 billion cubic meters and 40 billion cubic meters
