Flexential, a provider of hybrid IT data center solutions, said the new Transpacific Submarine Cable (NCP) is now operational, providing the lowest latency direct network connection
between the U.

and Asia.

-Asia Transpacific Submarine Cable has been commissioned
The submarine cable extends to the Flexential Brookwood data center
in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Developed by a consortium of seven member companies, including a U.
S.
multinational technology company and six Asian telecommunications providers, NCP submarine cables offer capacities of up to 80Tbps, significantly reducing latency between the U.
S.
and Asian markets across South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China
.

Flexential previously announced that the new Hawaukee submarine cable will also terminate at the Brookwood data center

Once completed this year, the Hawaki cable will directly connect the continental United States to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and American Samoa

The Brookwood data center is currently undergoing a 90,000-square-foot expansion to meet the growing demand for matching services and carrier-neutral, high-speed connectivity to these locations
.
