from January 1 next year.
Tian Shihong, director of the National Standards Committee, said that the new standard comprehensively and systematically standardizes the charging interface and communication protocol, provides technical support for the quality assurance system of charging facilities, ensures the interconnection of electric vehicles and charging facilities, avoids the disorderly development of the market and the formation of charging "islands", is conducive to reducing the waste of social resources caused by incompatibility, and actively promotes the policy landing of the electric vehicle industry
.
AQSIQ and the National Standards Commission will also focus on promoting the interconnection of electric vehicle charging process, charging service platform and charging payment to ensure the consistency
of charging interfaces and communication protocols.
Tian Shihong pointed out that in the next step, the National Standards Committee will work with relevant industry departments to strengthen the publicity and training and implementation of the new standards, promote charging facilities and electric vehicle manufacturers to organize production according to the new standards, and the charging facilities built and under construction should be upgraded according to the new standards, and continuously improve the development
