Blob International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Petrochemical Corporation (MPC), recently opened a new lubricating oil additive plant in the Netherlands
.
The new plant in Echt, the Netherlands, will enforce higher safety and quality standards and will focus on lubricant additives and chemicals, which will be at the heart of Bribi's lubricant additives and chemicals business, serving the global market
.
The opening ceremony of the new plant, Mr.
Dato' Nadzirah, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Netherlands, was officiated by Mr.
Datuk Sazali Hamzah, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS' Downstream Business and Ir.
Mr.
Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof attended the event
.
In his speech, Ambassador HE Dato' Nadzirah praised Petrochemical for expanding its operations in the Netherlands, saying: "Opening the new plant is very much in line with the Malaysian government's efforts to help domestic companies expand their presence
in the European market through strategic locations in the Netherlands.

The commissioning of the new plant is part of B&B's growth plan and will continue to strengthen B&B's market position as an international provider of innovative solutions and is an important milestone in the global development of the Ma Petrochemical Group

The new facility continues Britby's sustainable practices in the production of transmission fluid additives, using sustainable processes, reducing energy consumption and reducing the overall carbon footprint
of the product.
