    16 months after the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shandong Provincial Government signed the framework agreement for the "Hydrogen into 10,000 homes" technology demonstration project (hereinafter referred to as "Hydrogen into 10,000 homes"), the project has yielded fruitful results


    On August 27, the National Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the National Innovation Center) was officially listed in Weifang City, Shandong Province


    The center takes Weichai Power as the main body, and cooperates with Tsinghua University, Dahua Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China National Heavy Duty Truck, Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, Shandong Guohui, Zhongtong Bus and other leading enterprises in the industrial chain, universities, scientific research institutes and other high-quality innovative resources to create Form a technological innovation system for industry-university-research applications that "focuses on me and integrates innovation"


    On the day the National Innovation Center was officially listed, Weifang newly put into operation 200 Weichai hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles


    It is understood that the National Innovation Center was officially unveiled on April 16, 2021, marking that the center has entered the trial operation stage


    It is reported that as early as April 2021, the National Innovation Center took the lead in undertaking the first and currently only "Hydrogen into Ten Thousand Homes" technology demonstration project in China jointly implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Shandong Province


    After more than 5 years of development, Weichai Power has established a R&D team with independent innovation capabilities, and built the world's largest R&D and manufacturing base for 20,000 hydrogen fuel cell engines.
