After the federal government issues the Coast Control Zone (CRZ) license, the 8,100-kilometer Myanmar-Malaysia-India-Singapore submarine cable system MIST will land in
Chennai, India.
At the same time, the system will also make landfall
at Versova Beach in Andheri West, Mumbai.
According to the plan, the system has a design capacity of 216Tbps and is scheduled for completion
in 2023.
The system was developed by OLL, a joint venture between JICT and WEN Capital in Japan, and built by NEC Japan
.
