Sinochem News Network News At the press conference on the operation of the agricultural and rural economy in the first quarter held by the State Council Information Office on April 20, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs proposed to take multiple measures to ensure the supply and market of chemical fertilizers in response to the current high price of domestic fertilizers.
Chen Ping, head of the Marketing and Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, introduced that the total demand for chemical fertilizers during spring ploughing this year was about 39.
Pan Wenbo, director of the Plantation Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said, "At present, driven by the sharp rise in international fertilizer prices and the rising cost of domestic raw materials such as anthracite and sulfur, the price of fertilizers continues to run high, and the supply of some varieties is tight, and the price increase is relatively large.
It is understood that in order to ensure the supply and price of chemical fertilizers for spring ploughing this year, the National Development and Reform Commission recently issued a notice jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other 11 departments and units, requiring all localities and relevant central enterprises to focus on the production, supply, storage and sales of chemical fertilizers and other aspects.
In the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will continue to work with relevant departments and units to pay close attention to the market situation of spring ploughing agricultural materials, actively promote enterprises to improve the utilization rate of production capacity, give full play to the role of reserve adjustment, unblock the transportation and distribution channels of chemical fertilizers, and increase the number of agricultural products in key grain-producing areas.
