    Recently, Taaleri Energia has partnered with German development finance institution DEG to develop Serbia's largest utility-scale Masdar wind farm, which is scheduled to start production
    in early 2019.

    The power purchase agreement for Cibuk 1 was signed
    in October 2016.
    Serbia has pledged to produce 27% of its domestic electricity needs from renewable sources by 2020, reducing the country's reliance
    on coal-fired power generation under EU regulations.

    Dolovo's Cibuk 1, located 50 kilometers outside the capital Belgrade, has completed the construction of 33 overhead towers that can power the substations of the wind farm, connect to existing transmission lines 11 kilometers away, and hand over the transmission operations building to operators

    The wind farm, which consists of 57 wind turbines provided by GE Renewable Energy, is expected to power 113,000 homes and emit more than 370,000 tons of carbon dioxide
    per year.
    To date, 52 wind turbines have been fully assembled

    Tesla Wind General Manager said, "We have made significant progress on Cibuk 1, which covers an area of 37 square kilometers and, most notably, has recently energized
    the substations of the existing transmission system.
    We are on track to start operating the wind farm
    next year as planned.
