The European Union has issued an official announcement announcing the latest changes in the following active substances and regulations:
❶ Announcement of new requirements for microbial pesticides
Following the release of the revised draft of four important pesticide regulations in February this year, which revised the part of microbial pesticides, on September 1, the EU issued a number of announcements COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2022/1438, 2022/1439, 2022/1440, 2022/1441, announcing the formal revision of four important pesticide regulations, which made the latest provisions on the approval conditions, data requirements and review requirements of microbial pesticides

❷ The pesticide active substance fluazolide aniline is restricted
On September 6, the European Union issued the announcement Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1468 announcing the revision of the approval conditions
for fluzolinidium (penflufen).
The reason for this revision is that the applicant confirmed that the confirmatory information for fluazole aniline was not submitted, and the existing data could not support the previous approval conditions, so the EU limited the approval of the substance to only allow the treatment of cereal seeds before or during sowing, and limited the application of the same land to only once
every three years.
❸ Extend the approval period of more than 40 pesticide active substances such as quinolin, benzylherbin, nicotinsulfuron, amclopilinic acid, etc
As the EU is unable to complete the re-review before the expiration of the validity period of the substance approval, on September 8, the EU issued an announcement Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1480 announcing the extension of the approval period of more than 40 pesticide active substances such as quinolin, benzyloid, nicotinsulfuron, amclopyridinic acid, etc.
