On December 27, the largest single photovoltaic unit in the Philippines - Tallac 50,000 kilowatt photovoltaic power station project unit with a total area of 55 hectares was successfully connected to the grid for power generation

It is understood that the photovoltaic power station is located in the central science and technology park of Tarlac under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Economic Zone Agency, the owner is PetroSolar Company, the owner engineer is Syntegra Solar Company, the German company Conergy is responsible for the design, supply and delivery of solar panels and related equipment, and the civil construction, installation, substation and transmission and transformation line construction are completed
by local companies 。 PetroSolar said that the project was nominated for preferential feed-in tariffs from the government on January 19, and given that the Philippines has only approved a total of 132,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic units to enjoy a feed-in tariff of 8.
69 pesos/kWh (a total quota of 500,000 kilowatts), the probability of the project receiving preferential tariffs is high
