On August 2, the Omura Minoshima photovoltaic power plant near Nagasaki Airport began operation
.
With a power generation capacity of 30MW, it is the largest photovoltaic power plant
in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.
The PV plant will provide electricity to more than 10,000 households via 10 km of submarine cable
.
It is reported that the construction and operation of this photovoltaic power plant is the Nagasaki photovoltaic energy company, a joint venture between local natural gas company Super Pro and photovoltaic panel company Solar frontier
.
In order to expand renewable energy, Nagasaki, Japan, is soliciting photovoltaic energy
to the area near the airport through a public offering.
In response, the county set the time limit for renting apprentices to 20 years, and obtained land lease income
from this.
It is understood that the annual power generation of the photovoltaic power station is expected to reach 37 million kilowatt hours
.
Assuming that the average household uses 3,600 kW of electricity a year, the electricity generated can be used by more than 10,000 households
.
The electricity generated is supplied to the transmission network of the local Kyushu Electric Power Company, so a 10-kilometer submarine cable is laid to the photovoltaic power plant
