Using terephthalic acid, 1,4-butanediol, succinic acid (anhydride), adipic acid, etc.
as raw materials, the direct esterification process jointly developed by Kaixiang Chemical and Pulitt Company is adopted, and PBT, PBAT, PBS and other products
are obtained by esterification and polymerization reaction.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it has the capacity of 100,000 tons of PBT, 80,000 tons of PBAT (polyadipic acid/butylene terephthalate), and 60,000 tons of PBS (polybutylene succinate), which will drive the development of PBS, PBAT and other downstream supporting industries in the surrounding areas, and Kaixiang Chemical will become the largest PBT production base
in China.
After more than ten years of development, Henan Energy Yima Park Kaixiang Chemical has formed two complete industrial chains of "coal-methanol-dimethyl ether" and "coal-methanol-BDO-PBT", maintaining a stable development trend
for a long time.
