Recently, Danish renewable energy giant Ørsted announced that the Borssele 1 and 2 offshore wind farms in the North Sea of the Netherlands have been fully operational
    .

According to reports, the two offshore wind farms are equipped with a total of 94 Siemens Gamesa's 8 MW turbines with a total capacity of 752 megawatts (MW), which is the second largest offshore wind farm in operation in the world and the largest offshore wind farm

    in Ørsted's green transition.
With Borssele 1 and 2 as a first step, we want to make a significant contribution
to the Dutch transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy.
We are proud to have completed this large-scale clean energy project on time and within budget during the COVID-19 pandemic, while we continue to focus on health and safety
    .

Flemming Thomsen, Senior Project Manager for Borssele 1 and 2 in Ørsted, added: "Together with our supplier, our construction team has successfully installed the wind farm
