The largest hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply center in South China was officially put into use

On December 7, the reporter learned from the Information Office of Sinopec that recently, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hydrogen Supply Unit, the largest hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply center in South China, successfully produced qualified 99.

The daily hydrogen production capacity of the project is 6,400 kg, and it can supply 2,100 tons
of high-purity hydrogen to the society every year.

As the only hydrogen supply project in western Guangdong, the hydrogen supply center has laid a solid foundation
for the "hydrogen corridor" connecting Maoming, Yangjiang, Jiangmen to Foshan and Guangzhou and other core cities in the Greater Bay Area.

At present, the first phase of the project is equipped with a 3,000 cubic meter/hour hydrogen purification device and a 3,000 kg/day hydrogen refueling mother station, and the hydrogen produced will be successively supplied to Foshan and other cities in the Greater Bay Area, which can meet the hydrogen demand
of local hydrogen energy buses in the early stage.
In the second phase of the project, an additional filling compressor and two hydrogen refueling columns will be added in due course, which can supply 10 hydrogen refueling stations and meet the hydrogen demand of about 400 buses or logistics vehicles, contributing to the rapid development
of the hydrogen energy industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Up to now, Sinopec has built 9 hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply centers and is accelerating the construction of China's first hydrogen energy company
