and Shanghai Chemical Industry Research Institute Co.

held a signing and unveiling ceremony in Zhanjiang to jointly build the "State Key Laboratory of Polyolefin Catalysis Technology and High-Performance Materials" Industrial Demonstration Base (Zhanjiang).
Wang Xiaosui, director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Guo Rongbo, deputy director, attended the event

The base will be based on ethylene, give full play to the advantages of both parties, and start the industrialization process of high-end products in the field of polyolefin materials in Zhanjiang

Relying on this base, Shanghai Institute of Chemical Technology will set up a doctoral station and R&D center in Zhanjiang.
With its strong and leading scientific and technological innovation strength, it will better serve leading enterprises such as Zhongke Refinery and BASF, and deeply integrate into the overall development of Zhanjiang's petrochemical industry.
