The Tarim Ethane-to-Ethylene Project is one of the first batch of pure ethane feed-to-ethylene plants in China built on the rich natural gas resources of Tarim Oilfield and PetroChina's independent ethylene process technology

On the hoisting site, a set of 93-meter-high portal towers were installed, each mast was equipped with 1 square steel, 1 set of 400-ton jacks and power skids, and a total of 2 sets of 400-ton jacks were used, reaching a hoisting capacity of 800 tons

The ethylene tower is an over-limit equipment, and it is the tower with the heaviest weight, the highest height and the largest diameter among all the tower equipment in the ethylene plant

Wang Lisong, construction manager of the ethylene plant of Beijing Huanqiu Ethane-to-Ethylene Project, told reporters that the biggest difficulty in hoisting ethylene towers is the selection and comparison of hoisting schemes in the early stage, especially the safety and lifting weight issues

According to Wang Lisong, the ethane-to-ethylene plant is the first ethane-to-ethylene plant in China.
It adopts the technology of Huanqiu Company.
After the ethylene tower is hoisted into place, it marks the beginning of the installation of the next process pipeline, which is the end of the project.
After the installation is completed, the owner will need to carry out some purging and commissioning work.
It is expected to be delivered in June next year

It is understood that the total investment of the Tarim ethane-to-ethylene project is 9.

The main equipment and facilities include 3 sets of process equipment and supporting public works with an annual output of 600,000 tons of ethylene, 300,000 tons of full density polyethylene, and 300,000 tons of high-density ethylene.
And auxiliary production facilities, it has been listed as a demonstration project of ethane cracking to ethylene by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

"After the completion of the ethane-to-ethylene project, it will greatly ease the domestic ethylene resources and reduce imports.
At the same time, it will lead the development of our ethane-to-ethylene technology and will play a leading role in the entire demonstration project
