With a total length of 2,266 kilometers from Shanghai in the east to Kunming, Yunnan in the west, the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway is one of the "four vertical and four horizontal" rapid passenger corridors in the "medium and long-term railway network planning", and it is also the high-speed railway
with the longest east-west mileage, the largest influence range and the largest number of provinces in the high-speed rail skeleton network.
