" Zhang Zuoyi, dean of the Institute of Nuclear Energy and New Energy Technology of Tsinghua University and chief designer of the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor demonstration power station, said that this marks a breakthrough in the manufacturing of heat exchange components for steam generators and has the conditions
for industrialization.
It is understood that high-temperature gas-cooled reactor technology is one of the advanced nuclear energy technologies planned in the early stage of the establishment of
the national "863" plan.
