A few days ago, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway construction project undertaken by Chinese enterprises is scheduled to start laying the foundation
stone early next year.

President Jokowi adopted Presidential Regulation No.
107 of 2015 on accelerating the construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project, signed on October 6, instructing central and local governments to actively support the construction of the project in terms of permits, licensing fees, taxes and customs duties
.

The "business-to-business" construction project will be completed
as soon as possible with the assistance of 12 senior Indonesian government officials.
President Jokowi asked the Governor of Jakarta Prefecture, the Governor of West Paw, the Governor of Puvakarta, the Bandung West District and the Mayor of Bandung to actively support the smooth progress
of the construction of facilities and equipment for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway within their jurisdictions.
