On November 17, at the third meeting of the eighth session of the Quality Safety and Environmental Protection Committee of China Fluorosilicone Organic Materials Industry Association held in Quzhou, Zhejiang, experts and enterprise representatives summarized the quality, safety and environmental protection work of the industry this year, and discussed good ideas on how to further improve the quality, safety and environmental protection level of the industry, and planned the key work

Yin Ming, vice chairman of the association and director of the safety committee, and secretary of the party committee of Jiangsu Meilan Group, said that since the beginning of this year, the safety committee has compiled industry specifications such as "polysilicon safety production specifications" and "organic silicon monomer safety production specifications", assisted regulatory authorities in supervision and verification, organized fluorine chemical/silicone special training, and promoted the green and safe development of
industry enterprises.

Yin Ming pointed out that safety accidents in the industry occur from time to time, the safety work of the industry still needs unremitting efforts, and the solution of problems such as hazardous waste and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) treatment has also been put on the agenda

In response to these problems, the Security Committee will promote the implementation of the green and low-carbon development strategy through standardized management, strengthened training, and safety case analysis of the fluorosilicon industry, continue to fight the battle of safety and environmental protection, accelerate the construction of a green system covering the safety life cycle of green and low-carbon, safety and environmental protection, and comprehensive utilization of resources, and comprehensively lead the green transformation
of the industry.
Yin Ming said that the safety committee will promote exchanges and high-quality development
of the fluorosilicon industry in five aspects, including strengthening academic exchanges, talent training, online publicity, offline research and its own team building.

In view of the current development status of the industry, the participating experts pointed out that the current development trend of the fluorosilicon industry is still strong, but there are also hidden worries
of "high output, but unstable results".
