On August 5, General Electric's Asia-Pacific low-wind wind power equipment production base in Puyang, Henan Province, the sixth production base of onshore wind turbines in the United States and the second onshore wind turbine production base in China, rolled off the production line, marking a solid step
forward in strategic cooperation between Henan Province and General Electric.
The first phase of GE's Puyang Wind Power Production Base, which started construction in September last year, produces onshore wind turbines specifically designed for China's unique low wind speed and wind conditions, with an estimated annual output of 200-300 units
.
It is reported that after the first unit of Puyang wind power production base came off the line, Henan Province and GE also signed a cooperation investment agreement for the second phase of the Puyang base project, and GE will continue to build a wind power engineering application center, wind power digital service center, wind power training center and wind turbine operation and maintenance center in Puyang, making it an onshore wind power integrated manufacturing and service base
radiating to the Asia-Pacific region.
