in PNG Hagen.

PNG Prime Minister O'Neill delivered a speech congratulating Papua New Guinea on the smooth start
of the State Grid Power Transmission and Transformation Project.
He said that after the completion of the project, it will help promote the economic development of the central region of Papua New Guinea, meet the electricity needs of millions of people and families, improve the quality of life of local residents, and is also an important part of Papua New Guinea's plan to achieve electricity coverage of
70% of the population by 2030.

The first phase of the PNG State Grid project (Montehagen-Panda-Mendi-Tari 132kV power transmission and transformation project) was undertaken by TBEA, using preferential export buyer credit funds
from the Chinese government.
The main content of the project is the construction of four transmission and substations and 189 kilometers of transmission and transformation circuits
