1,4-Butanediol unit: A new 70,000-ton/year 1,4-butanediol unit will be built, mainly building acetylenic unit and hydrogenation unit
Acetylene plant: Wuheng Chemical (Ningxia) Phase I project construction (2+2) * 13,000 tons/year acetylene plant (4 sets of acetylene generators, 2 open and 2 ready), using dry acetylene process, using calcium carbide as raw material, The crude acetylene gas is generated by the hydrolysis reaction of calcium carbide and water, which is sent to the 1,4-butanediol unit after purification
Formaldehyde plant: Wuheng Chemical (Ningxia) Phase I project builds 2x130,000 tons/year of formaldehyde (calculated at a formaldehyde concentration of 37wt%).
Hydrogen production from alcohol: The nominal production capacity of the methanol cracking hydrogen production unit in the first phase of Wuheng Chemical (Ningxia) project is 9500Nm3/h, the actual hydrogen consumption of the first phase of the project is 5338Nm3/h, the surplus hydrogen is 4162Nm3/h, and the hydrogen consumption of the second phase of the project is 5338Nm3/h.
