According to Platts Energy News on August 29 Stavanger, Norway, Bren Yaldan, director of the Kashagan International Consortium overseeing Kazakhstan's Kashagan large oil field, said that according to the first phase of the development plan, Kazakhstan's giant oil field Kashagan large oil field is expected to produce 470,000 barrels of oil per day
