As of 2:20 on August 3, the first one million kilowatt-class offshore wind farm in China, the Three Gorges Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Power Project, has produced more than 2 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity this year, which can replace over 600,000 tons of standard coal and reduce energy consumption.

The Three Gorges Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Power Project is located in the south waters of Shapa Town, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province.

The project has set a number of records such as "the first in the world" and "the best in the country", which has driven the coordinated development of the entire industry chain of offshore wind power in China, and has a demonstration and leading role in the development and construction of large-capacity offshore wind power projects in the far-reaching seas
