On November 10, news came from PetroChina that Lanzhou Petrochemical's 35,000 tons/year special nitrile butadiene rubber plant produced low-nitrile nitrile NBR1906
.
After testing, the products have reached the technical index requirements
.
NBR1906 became the first low-nitrile grade product
to achieve industrial production in China.
The product is jointly completed
by Lanzhou Chemical Research Center of China Petrochemical Research Institute, Lanzhou Petrochemical Synthetic Rubber Factory and Northwest Chemical Sales Branch 。 Low nitrile nitrile NBR1906 is a low combined acrylonitrile content, Mooney viscosity of 63 environmental protection products, with low temperature resistance, resilience and processing performance and other characteristics, its glass transition temperature is less than -50 °C, -40 °C compression cold resistance coefficient is greater than 0.
4, there is a good balance between low temperature, elasticity and oil resistance, suitable for making oil-resistant products with high requirements for cold resistance, low temperature flexibility and resilience, such as seals, sealing strips, oil-resistant hoses, aviation parts, refrigerator special-shaped tubes, Highland railway and locomotive accessories, etc
.
Domestic low-nitrile brand products have been monopolized by rubber manufacturers in developed countries in Europe and the United States, resulting in this key material being subject to people for a long time, which seriously restricts the development of
related domestic industries and fields.
Nitrile rubber classification
Nitrile rubber is a copolymer formed by the polymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene monomers
.
It is mainly produced
by low-temperature emulsion polymerization.
It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion
.
Its disadvantages are poor low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation performance, and slightly lower
elasticity.
Classification by the amount of acrylonitrile bound:
1) Very high nitrile grade with 42% acrylonitrile binding;
2) High nitrile grade with acrylonitrile amount of 36%~41%;
3) Combine medium and high nitrile grades with acrylonitrile content of 31%~35%;
4) Combined with acrylonitrile content of 25%~30% nitrile grade;
5) Combine low nitrile grades with acrylonitrile content of 24% or less;
Nitrile rubber market
According to monitoring, the nitrile rubber market has experienced two rounds of decline so far this year
.
The first round of downward movement fell from the end of April to the end of August, a decrease of 35.
79%; The second round of downward movement fell from late September to November 10, a decline of 10.
43%.
As of November 10, the price of nitrile rubber was 15250 yuan / ton, down 37.
88% from the year's high and hitting a new low
in the year.
The traditional peak season only brought a short-term slight rebound to nitrile rubber, and the continued sluggish demand once again dragged nitrile rubber
downward.
Asia's nitrile rubber production capacity ranks first in the world, accounting for 66%; Europe and South America ranked second and third, accounting for 26% and 5%
respectively.
From the perspective of production capacity distribution in Asia, the first place is China, which is expected to have a total production capacity of 275,000 tons / year in 2022, accounting for about 33%
of the total global production capacity.
Although the growth rate of China's nitrile rubber consumption has slowed down in recent years, China is still the world's largest producer and consumer of nitrile rubber
.
