On January 17, 2022, Helsinki time, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced a new batch of substances of very high concern (SVHC), and the SVHC list was officially updated to 223 items
.

The four new SVHC substances are as follows:

Note: The substance Decanoic acid, nonadecafluoro-, sodium salt under the entry Nonadecafluorodecanoic acid (PFDA) and its sodium and ammonium salts has been deleted because it is the same substance as sodium nonadecafluorodecanoate, so only sodium nonadecafluorodecanoate remains
