According to reports, Blauwwind is 45% owned by Partners Group, 20% owned by Shell, 10% owned by Van Oord of the Netherlands, 10% owned by Eneco and 15%
owned by Generating Europe.
In December 2016, the company won a tender from the Dutch Ministry of Economics to complete the financing of the offshore wind farm in June 2018 and start installing the first turbine
in October 2019.
