Recently, the Danish Green Investment Bank provided 16 million euros (about $18.
4 million) in funding for two photovoltaic projects in
Denmark.
It is understood that the total capacity of these projects is 32MW.
Better Energy will develop Vollerup's 24.
75MW project and Nees' 7MW project
.
It is revealed that these projects are expected to be connected to the grid
by the end of this year.
The projects were awarded as part of the
German-Danish cross-border auction.
Electricity from these sites will be sold
at €1.
72/MWh ($1.
98/MWh) in excess of wholesale costs.
Better Energy claims that this makes them the least subsidized project in the country because it is closer to grid parity
.
Back in 2017, Better Energy and the bank agreed to allocate 33 million euros ($38 million) for four project portfolios with a total capacity of 51MW.
