China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation announced that on October 8, China’s first commercial development of large-scale shale gas field, Sinopec’s Jianghan Oilfield Fuling shale gas field, produced 40 billion cubic meters of shale gas.

The Fuling shale gas field is located in Fuling District, Chongqing City.

It is reported that at present, the drilling and fracturing construction cycle has been reduced by about 50% compared with the initial period, and the single-well investment has been reduced by more than 40% compared with the initial period.
